NYC offers us an impressive gastronomical offer, with restaurants of every kind and nationality. We won’t tangle in complicated proposals, we leave that to gourmet’ webs, and instead we propose three genuine New Yorker places where you can eat what we consider the traditional food in the place: a Brunch, a Hamburger and a Pizza.
Save a Saturday or Sunday morning to have a Bruch in famous Felix Bar, in 340 West Broadway, after having a walk in Soho’s market. In its website www.felixnyc.com you can see the menu, with eggs leading the offer. Just across the street is another place that is a perfect alternative is Felix is too crowded or too hot in the terrace. It’s called Sanctuary T (337 B West Broadway) and it serves a croquet monsieur that’s magnificent.
You can leave New York without having its traditional pizza; in the corner of Old Fulton St. with Front St., just below Brooklyn Bridge, is the old and famous pizzeria where you can regain your strength after walking at Brooklyn Heights Promenade while looking at Brooklyn Bridge.
Is logic that if you’re visiting USA you’ll have to taste its most famous dish: the hamburger. At 3rd Avenue with 55th Street you’ll find a bricked building, which restaurant, opened in 1884, have the essence of old jazz’s clubs. In its clashing tables they serve one of the best hamburgers in the city, that won’t be the biggest you’ll eat but it will be the best. In this picturesque place you can also try amazing Benedictine Eggs, and famous New York Cheese Cake for dessert.
